Suede Leather

 S U E D E

Some quick facts of Suede
1. French phrase "gants de Suède", meaning "gloves of Sweden"
2. It IS leather, primarily the underside of the skin, usually of a calf or lamb
3. Since the underside is "napped" (pulling of the leather's natural fibers), it is less durable
4. Due to the open pores and texture, it CAN be more vulnerable to dirt and wear of everyday use
5. MOST IMPORTANT- It looks amazing when sewn on clothing, shoes, accessories with character and skill

I will show you the importance and ease of maintaining for your suede products

Tools: 1. Old Toothbrush 2. Lint roller 3. Little water 4. Waterproof spray  (For Post Treatment)

Start by taking your tootbrush and lightly brushing away loose debris and grime. Follow with a light lint rolling of excess hair, dirt, or loose suede ends

After lightly sprinkling a little water over the entire shoe with your hand or spray bottle, repeat the brushing process to remove deep dirt and possible liquid stains (no chemicals needed)

We are almost there. Next comes the optional lint rolling and the rubbing of smelly good dryer sheets. This not only makes the shoe smell fresh but the sheet's (created in the 1960's from a man trying to help his wife with laundry) compunds dissipate static charge by lubricating and increasing the surface conductivity of the fabric fibers. This, in simpler terms, it prevents static cling. Your new suede footwear will collect dust and hair less than before your laundry sheet treatment

The last step, SMILE! Viola. Enjoy your new, clean, fresh zapatos

at this point you can freely use a suede approved protector spray at your discretion
