Tying your Dress Shoes
My partner in crime came home today after a few grueling training sessions with the roomate. Conversation developed around the pain that many of us, who don't have the "shoe mold" foot, experience. When attempting to break in a brand new pair of Nike Mecurial Vapor soccer boots, a deep pain was felt on the top of the foot. He wondered why such a pain exists and what could he possibly do to fix the issue. Instead of the cross lacing that the shoe was done up with, he unlaced it and thought of various possibilities. Instead of returning the shoes, my partner decided to bring back the classy bar lacing. By doing so, he was able to streamline the lacing on his cleats and minimize the amount of material over his high-instep. The shoes fit better than ever and his foot can actually feel the soft leather tongue. Give this a try and you'll probably catch someone's eye..
